Jute is a natural fibre with a golden and silky shine and hence called the "Golden Fibre". Jute is long and soft and at the same time, strong and durable. It is also quick drying, so you wouldn't have to worry about exposure to water.
The biggest reason we, at Working Hands-in-Craft, love jute is because of its environmental benefits. Jute fibre is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and thus environmentally friendly. A hectare of jute plants consumes about 15 tonnes of carbon dioxide and releases 11 tonnes of oxygen! Jute also does not generate toxic gases when burnt.
At Working Hands-in-Craft, we believe in the authenticity of our products which are made of 100% jute. We also strive to showcase the handiwork of our talented artisans who put an immense amount of time and effort into weaving every yarn with their skilled hands to express the intricate artistry of each product.
By purchasing our natural, handmade products, you're not just contributing to the well-being of our planet and the social upliftment of local artisans but also helping to shape a better future for ourselves as well as the next generation.
